La forêt des insoumis
Au début de la Première Guerre mondiale (1914-1918), les soldats canadiens étaient des volontaires. Mais à partir de 1917, le gouvernement oblige les jeunes hommes à aller se battre. René, Lucien et William fuient Montréal et leur famille pour se cacher dans la forêt. Ils apprennent à y vivre. Le temps est long et leurs familles leur manquent. Ils craignent l’hiver qui arrive et les dénonciations. D’ailleurs, ils ont l’impression d’avoir été suivis. Réalité? Ou fiction?
